7k lb 8 lug axle is $150 aprox. Now thats for the axle, not spendles, hubs, bearings etc..

You can actually jack up a trailer using the tongue jack.

Lower the tongue close to the ground.
Put jack stands at the rear of the trailer, under the frame, as far behind the wheels you can.
Raise the jack stands up to the trailer frame or as high as they can go.
Raise the tongue with the tongue jack. Eventually the trailer will be sitting on the tongue jack and the jack stands with the wheel(s) off the ground.
I don't know if I would try this with the trailer loaded - but then again, why not?

This is how I did it when I flipped the axle on my utility trailer.

Can save you a lot of driving around and the delivery cost is not bad and no tax. Consider going SS where you can.
They deliver fast too.
