My OB doctor friends. I hear that cinnamon and honey will just about cure all your ailments but the research for these claims mainly comes from overseas. What say you guys? And what journal did you read your findings in?

Both have excellent health benefits, but I don't know about a cure all. I have some of both most everyday.

I'm gonna be all about some Smoothie King as soon as I get this tube out. I will be consulting you for flavors. I've got one about a mile from the house. I've been losing about 1 lb/ day on this damn tube and I need to put some lbs back on before radiation and chemo start.

The hulk if you're gonna be putting on pounds.

P.S. I was watching Fox News while on the treadmill Tuesday morning. Michael Douglas has the same thing you have. Took the docs 9 months to diagnose..........he is fine now.

Michael Douglas has a lot more money than I do.

I've gotten great care so far and have good insurance so hopefully after a few uncomfortable months I can put all this in my rear view. I'll go check out Michael's story.

Took his high paid docs 9 months to diagnose though........

I just looked and they called his throat cancer but they said he had a lump on his tongue on what I was watching.

Yep. I was about to say it looks like he had throat cancer. Also, he is in the typical age bracket to get oral cancer. Josey at 34 is not. He also has plenty of money to lay up and recover. Josey does not.

ETA: I read another article and it said the tumor was on the base Of his tongue. Mine was on the side. When it is in the base, they consider it throat cancer.

They also said his tumor wasn't treatable with surgery. I'm gonna hit mine with all 3. Surgery, radiation, an chemo. An I've got age on my side. I've got a positive outlook so far.

Yeah. The head and neck radiation ruins your salivary glands. Constant water sipping will be in my future for sure, but I always had a bottle of water close at hand anyway.

Yeah. You'll just have to keep a bottle of water with you. Who knows...they'll probably be able to grow you some new salivary glands in a few yrs anyway.

Man no reason to be losing weight with a tube in. Have your doc up your caloric intake.
