It seemed to progress over the years at the Atch delta. As the delta migrated south, so did the hunting. It was in the late 90s when I first heard of the birds rafted up offshore from a guy on crewboat. Now with a blind less than 200 yards from GOM, I get to witness it first hand on way too many occasions. North wind and beach is like glass and they sit within 1/2 of coast. This year around 8:30-9am, there would be a massive flight offshore almost daily.
