It's an odd deal...
I cleaned all the plastic out of the sight glass and reinstalled it and it works fine.
I'm gonna pick up a spare tomorrow though. No water pressure at the tailgate would suck.

I think toilet paper is their problem on mine. Best think I can do is run water in like Vette said and let it soak, then hook hose the internal spray and let it go a while. Never tried any soap in it, good idea.

I have also read to dump two bags of ice in there with detergent before heading out. It supposedly knocks the lingering paper off. I tried once and it did no good.
In any event, the black tank is not something I have to watch. We fill the grey tank twice as fast. I miss my older 5er than had three tanks.

On your black tank, let it get at least 3/4 full
before you drain it.
Also, after you drain it, put 2-3 gallons of water in it to start off.
Another you can try is to dump 10-20 lbs of ice down the commode into a tank that has 2-3 gallons of water in it, then drive around for a hour or so. The ice may break up the gunk.
You are using marine toilet paper, correct?
