If im not mistaken you have to pull the cab to get to the injectors. Labor alone will drain your account. I had an 05 with every problem those motors where known for.

You don't HAVE to but I think its easier for a shop to pull the cab than it is to try and do it in-frame. Its not a bad job for a fully equipped shop. I think a guy can DIY with the cab on but its an unpleasant job.

At least this is what I think. Im pretty sure a friend of mine did head studs and all with the body on.

As I said earlier, that's probably a $25k truck in good running condition so at $2500 even putting a new motor in it and flipping it will probably pay off.
