Uncle Si coming to our region

Never have met the man or any of his family as many of yall have. ALL proceeds from his show are going to help out with the financial and medical costs of 4 needy kids in the area. This is wonderful, imho, and my opinion of the man and his family just went up several more notches. Any of yall ever been to one of his events? Would love to drive over and take some of the grandkids myself.

Yeah they are great people. About 15 years ago I was helping with our churches wild game banquet. The preacher and I went to Phil’s house to ask him to be our guest speaker.
We stayed for several hours talking to Phil and whoever else was there. He was the only one we recognized. They all were extremely hospitable and really down to earth. Really like able people. Phil wouldn’t take any payment for speaking, but we got him a framed picture of him preaching at the banquet and an engraved Puma skinning knife. He was really appreciative.
