I have 150 ft of 4" pvc with 2 catch basins that drains from the rear to the front of my lot.

It works but is slow because of minimal gradient difference.

Q, If I tie my house roof gutter to this in ground pipe will it push/flow the water thru the in ground existing 4 inch pipe, or will it just out flow thru the catch basins?

The gutter/roof height will provide a little extra pressure due to height

If the water is slow to drain because of lack of slope then adding more water isn't going to help.

I see what you're getting at about maybe the extra pressure from the downspout but I don't think it will work in a positive way. For one, the "head" pressure of the downspout will be very little unless for some (bad) reason water backs up in height in the spout.

In the end you're just adding more water.

What he said. The only way you’re gonna get head pressure off a gutter is if it’s not allowed to drain and backs up, which is definitely not the goal. I would focus on eliminating whatever is not allowing drainage in the in ground pipe.

It will just flow out of the catch basins. If you do get extra pressure from the added water it will be due to added height of standing water in your yard, not the fact that the water started on your roof.
