I’ve heard the same from many people. The lease we had was run by dogs for over 30 years, and they shot everything. We are looking to turn that around, pumping these deer with feed and minerals and letting them build up the herd.

Hopefully it works out for you.
Everyone around us runs dogs.
That’s why I like muzzleloader better than modeling fun, although all the bucks seem to leave my stand about the week before MZ.

Same here, can pretty much shut it down after thanksgiving. I pretty much joined for bow hunting , looking to get my first one with a bow. Last year i tore my bicep so wasn’t able to hunt how i wanted to.

Yeah I think it was a finch nest where a momma had relaid eggs. I felt bad about throwing the other one out so I didn’t bother it.

Nice pics. Y'all must all be rich buying $12/sack corn in July just to take pictures of deer.

i guess you will be pissed to know i started feeding in June. The 50# sacks were only 8.75.
