Who's been out to Toledo Bend recently? Me and the wife are headed there Monday and I want to put her on some fish. With the heat the way it is, I think we may fish mostly late in the evening and into the night. Any advice is appreciated!

Not gonna share any spots, but if you're just looking to have fun and catch fish, cruise around out around deep creeks and look for schooling white bass in the evenings. You can catch em every cast with a trap or crankbait.

Find some boat houses/Docks with lights, start about an hr after dark throwing a big (biggest blade you have) "black" spinner bait or black worms.

Start at the outside of the light and work your way in to the dock. Dark banks work good for the spinner bait also. Slow steady retrieve. Fish the worm slow also

Thanks fellas. I'm probably gonna try some main lake points and creek channel points during the day and shallow in the morning. She's never got a fish on topwater so hopefully we can make it happen. I'm a little nervous about being out there at night. We're staying at Big Bass Marina and it looks like there's a lot of docks around that area so I may just stay close by and try that.
