I live in Falls County, Texas. No season, no limit. Waiting for the weather to cool down a bit more. Take all I need and then some from the pecans in my pasture below my house. They are some tame mofoes.

Just went pull my last pack of squirrels from last season (frozen in water). Going to make a brown gravy tomorrow.

My pops never had a semi auto .22lr. He has an old, and well worn bolt-action Remington that is an absolute tack driver with iron sights and a beautiful blued and glossy Browning lever action with a scope. Both of which I covet. Unfortunately, so do my 4 brothers!

well come on back to AP. Me and 34 will have a cold beer for you.

I appreciate the offer. If I make it back for a weekend this year, I'll be sure to reach out. I miss opening squirrel weekend with the family. Those woods absolutely lit up!

You can't go wrong with a henry.

Man that's a liberal arse squirrel season, I'm seriously jealous.

I'm in Sallisaw, they have no fear here. Lawnmower seems to attract them.

Nice job Coco. I've always loved squirrel hunting but always hated cleaning them. I had an old guy show me how he cleaned them a couple of years ago. So much easier which makes me enjoy hunting them again.

Oh, and I can highly recommend a Henry 22. Mine is a tack driver and makes a great squirrel gun.
