Good move waking the gf up because an angry woman in the morning with guns around is a recipe for a disaster!
I can only imagine the wild sounds you hear in the middle of the night in complete darkness. I'm not easily rattled, but I can't say that would be the case if I saw Big Foot or the Rougarou! I feel confident in saying bullets would be flying all directions!

The last club i was in didnt have a camp or anything. I made a box large enough to hunt 2 people and actually stayed in it a night or two throughout the season. I brought my day/night ATN just in case i heard some hogs or yotes pass in the night. Never killed anything like that but it wasnt bad
