Absolutely. In Texas the large neighbors often high fence you out if they find out you're killing a lot of deer on a small parcel next to their larger one

I've talked to the neighbors that hunt around the small tracts I have permission on. I go by whatever standards they have. I've only shot does on them the last few years because I haven't had the opportunity on any bucks that meet the criteria.

You'd be surprised at how many deer will be around if your location is good. I've seen 10-15 deer pass through in a hunt on 7 acres. If there isn't a funnel, natural food sources or bedding you're pretty much stuck with hoping that they come to a feeder/plot.
