Anyone have a feel for what this is doing to the whitetail population in the areas of South and Central Texas?

It's dry real dry, but because so many people feed deer and raise livestock...which means they have to feed and water the animals the herds are in decent shape from all the things I have read and pics I have seen. I think the fawn crop is what has taken the biggest hit this year, and we won't feel that impact this season. They say central tx could have to deal with this drought well into 2012.
