The Hunt

While watching Mountain Men tonight I noticed History Channel has a new show coming out next Sunday called The Hunt. Evidently it is going to be a show focused on grizzly hunting. Episode one appears to be a guy in Kodiak bow hunting with a grizzly about 40 yds away coming at him.
Anybody else going to watch this or know anything else about it?

Wads up bbfbf.. Don't know nuffin bout it, but I'll probly watch. Luvs me some history channel, usually remember most of it.

I remember seeing Fred Bear do this years ago on an episode of "American Sportsman". Fred was pulling something like 100 lb. draw weight on that recurve bow. Fred was a man. And he did kill the bear. The "back and forth" between Curt Gowdy and Phil Harris always cracked me up. Now that I think of it that was about 45 years ago... wonder if Geauxt can even remember that?

I loved gowdys intro. I used to like when grits Gresham was a guest on there.

I remember part of the intro: "Follow me...." I can remember the melody, too, but not the words. That show was where I got the notion that if I could get me one of those Bill Plummer bass frogs, I'd catch a 9 pounder on every cast. They showed the actual kill shot. No PC crap back then. You young whippersnappers missed out.
