Well, let's open it up to a vote. Who wants teams vs. B/C scoring.

BC will be hard to do b/c thats easy to stretch

What about:

Total Points = .35(points)+.35(weight)+.30(BC)

I'll enter but probably won't come close to competing.

Some areas just can't compete with other areas of the state.

Same here. I may be hard to beat in the most jacked up rack category.

Well, I think it's stupid to judge deer on weight, but I like where you're going.

B/C is not only easy to lie about, but there are about a dozen diff ways to score a deer and even one official scorer will score diff then another. So, how about our own scoring system. Inside spread+main beam (measured from base to tip of point)+tine length of all tines measured from top of main beam+circ of bases+circ after G3 tine=total score.

Or, IMHO, come back here and post pic of deer. Everyone pats each other on the back and congratulates each other on a successful hunt and that's it.

I agree...unless you go with teams and base it on points from antlers then there is really no fair way to do it. like it was said its to easy to add an inch or two when scoring or people have different scoring methods.

Me too . I don't deer hunt much anymore but I do hunt Dec 25 to Jan 1 on private property in Tensas & Concordia Parish's. So, if there is a Louisiana only category I plan to win this.
