Hi! I am a 56 year old (8 yrs in dog time), AKC registered male yellow lab that is looking for a female companion with similar interests. I live in Louisiana and am closest with my hunting companion who has owned, hunted with, and personally trained his labs for 50 years. He says that I am the best lab that he has ever owned. I come from a long line of hunting labs, and have hunted from the marshes of Venice to the rice and WRP fields of North LA and Arkansas. My owner friend likes to think that he is responsible for teaching me things like “sit”, “stay”, “come”, “over”, “back”, “fetch”, and “heel”. However, I already knew these things as they were passed down to me from generations of hunting ancestors. The only thing he has never tried teaching me is going underwater for a duck, but I already had this passed to me directly from my father who would dive ten feet down to the bottom of our swimming pool to retrieve a dummy. I have retrieved hundreds of ducks, doves, and many hard-to-find wounded deer or dead deer, none of which were raised in a cage. I do not have hip or eye certifications, but could attain those if necessary. I am 100% healthy except for a missing toe that I lost due to a sharp Roseau cane while retrieving a canvasback down in Venice, LA. Anyways, as I am approaching adulthood, I would like to pass down my hunting knowledge to the next generation. If there are any available and interested ladies out there, please contact my owner.

Have a 5 year old AKC black female that I too believe to be one of the best I’ve owned.
Solid all around trained duck dog (FF, blinds, doubles, triples, etc) but Ive used her more for blood trailing/no blood trailing the last couple of years. Although I keep her retrieving skills sharp year around.
Great temperament, awesome family pet with an on/off switch when it’s time to work.
I’m in the Monroe area. She should be coming in in the next few months if I’m not mistaken.

We have a 2yo yellow female.

Her sire is none other than Magnolia's Hammerin' Hank

Hank won the Grand as you may know in HRC circles.

The question is, is your pups bloodline worthy of such a breeding?

We've only bred our past females on very rare occasion to "better the breed"

He sounds more intelligent than many of the posters here. I vote we let him post as often as he likes.

I’ve got a high strung, athletic chocolate that thinks she’s a human that could help water down a gene pool if that’s your angle.

Will be in touch shortly. Expecting her to come in in 4ish months if that’s not too long of a wait.
Will email some pictures, not sure how to do it here

No dog in this hunt, but is your dog worthy of his seed?

Most “champion” dogs aren’t worth a damn on a real hunt...
