They also make the barrels for PSA, or did so when I bought mine.
I got a parts kit from them that was all FN some years back. I wasn't sure if they still use them or not.

Looks like their relationship is growing. PSA has started using FN barrels as their "premium barrels" for their AK line. So far the AK barrels by FN are showing to be fantastic. If they just made a Type 3 barrel profile I'd be on that like a fat kid on a cupcake.

SOLGW. Their base rifle is $950 and you can use the discount code M4C to get 10% off.

My 1:8 barrel shoots 73gr. rounds just fine.
Yeah, people go crazy about the bbl twist thing. Sure, you don't want to shoot a heavy in a 1:12 or a light in a 1:7, but for most 5.56/.223 ammo, 1:7 to 1:9 (which are going to be 90% or more of the barrels out there) are going to be just fine for anything in the 55gr to 73gr range (about 95% of the ammo).
Now - a 1:9 isn't going to do well with the heaviest bullets (73gr). A 1:7 isn't going to be super accurate with 55 grain past the 100 to 125 yard mark.
Those would be my only concerns about common barrel twists and common 5.56mm/.223 bullet weights.
