Solar Panels for Deer Feeder

How well do your solar panels keep your feeders running? Are they worth it or just change out the battery everytime you turn around?

On the same batteries for the last 2 seasons. Seem to work great.

I have one on a 55 gal feeder in AR and the battery has lasted 2 seasons. Solar really helps out if your woods are far from home, and it even works in thick piney woods. Face it south in winter so it gets better sun exposure.

They are worth it, they keep our feeders charged from sept-feb.
