I didn’t think about that. I’ll pay attention more when I shoot again.
I've noticed that being the issue at times when people use that grip. I believe it might have been the issue a few times I had the same slide non-locking issue. This was more than a decade ago. I hadn't shot anything for quite some time. For whatever reason, I was pressing my strong side thumb against the slide. I didn't realize I was causing the issue until I was reading an article about slides not locking back properly. The author suggested this was one of the top reasons.

I bought a box of 180 grain, but I want to also have a box of 200 grain for my first time with the 10mm!
180gr is all I’ve ever shot. I’d like to shoot some full power loads like underwood or buffalo bore but I always end up buying the cheaper 180gr Federal off the shelf.

I should add that I got the 9mm.

Are you referring to 9mm in 180 grain? I'll be honest. I don't believe I've ever shot more than 147 grain out of any of my 9mm firearms. In my EDC and my gun in my vehicle, I'll carry either 124 or 147 grain hollow points. When I'm practicing I just grab the 115 and 124 target stuff.
