I have one. Wouldn't do it again. Knew it wasn't a good idea. Told friends it wasn't a good idea. Got caught In a weak moment. Like that fine crazy chick we all know. They look great, but it just isn't worth it.

I am on my 3rd Golden. She is blonde and 10 months old. She already hunted with me all of last year, although in the blind with me just to acclimate her to hunting as a puppy.

She chewed 1 pair of Crocs and that was it. I scolded her and it has never happened again.

I know this is a Lab Blog and again, I love Labs still.
I may never win a field trial with my Goldens but they are incredible pets, incredibly intelligent and will find my birds when I need them too.

I have seen Golden/Lab mixes that were beautiful dogs and I am curious if anyone has experience with them.

BTW, My wife had a Wiemaraner when we met so I can see how "Silver" Labs would not be good dogs!
