I'm starting to 2nd guess the prop size on this motor. I think this motor came off of a bass boat and the lower pitched prop was on the Evinrude I tool off of it last year.
I'll check this weekend. Thanks! That's about how fast I thought it should go.

yes, it ought to get on top and you should be able to tow skiers faster than 15.. sumptin wrong..

I have a 24' Berkshire with a 4 stroke 90. Top speed is 26mph with ice chest and six people.
I have a prop made for a crew boat. Works great. Try a prop that is made for heavy loads. If you simply have a bass boat prop you won't get the push you need for a pontoon.
