is this

quote:

KGM Technologies are set to introduce the innovative Fischer Development pistol suppressor to the US market under the name FDP Suppressor. The unprecedented features of the FDP provide it with a unique selling point in the rapidly evolving suppressor market.

Unlike the traditional design, the FDP Suppressor attaches to the pistol via the integral frame rails instead of a thread on the barrel. It is designed with an easily actuated quick attach system that relies on a patented latch, meaning changes can be made swiftly and effectively. Unlike other suppressors, the FDP negates the necessity to add suppressor height sights, a clear move to streamline the user experience.

The strategic design brings mass forward in the suppressor, aiding in the reduction of muzzle flip and recoil, despite not being overly heavy at 13.4oz. The combination of lightweight design and enhanced control could position the FDP as a preferred option among firearm enthusiasts and professionals. Impressively, the FDP Suppressor further demonstrates its versatile usage, with the ability to be operated wet or dry and it being compatible with both subsonic and supersonic ammunition.

In terms of construction, the FDP Suppressor is crafted from hard-coat anodized aluminum alloy and is expected to be available in both black and FDE. The suppressor is designed to accommodate 9mm Luger caliber ammunition and is just one inch in width, retaining a sleek, inconspicuous design.

The partnership between KGM Technologies and Fischer Development, the originator of the technology, paves the way for the introduction of this pioneering suppressor to the US audience. Production is already in progress and the suppressor is expected to be production-ready by summer 2024, if not sooner, as part of a portfolio for Fischer Development that will be rebranded as FD Suppressors.

As the industry continuously advances, KGM Technologies and the soon-to-be FD Suppressors stand as competitors in a burgeoning market. The forthcoming release of the FDP Suppressor in Spring/Summer 2024 is set to usher in a new era of firearm technology, maintaining the mission of both companies to provide the latest advancements in firearm technology to their audience.

My guess is some states don’t allow threaded barrels and they are trying to get around that with new tech.

according to the videos i've seen, they're going to run about $999 and it'll be about a year before they hit the market once they fine tune the molds they'll be made out of.

Those things are going to sell like hot cakes at IHOP.

Pretty bad arse folding stock for the Ruger 10/22 Takedown

quote:

The new B-TM folding stock, specifically crafted for the Ruger 10/22 Takedown, captures the essence of the classic Mini-14 folding stock, yet it is custom-designed for the smaller 10/22. Eager buyers can expect this stock to be available for shipping at the end of February. The pricing for the stock is set at $279 for the stainless finish version, while the black finish model is priced at $299.

Who needs knives when you have a Tac-Bat Pistol (Elsie would approve)

quote:

At SHOT Show 2024, Crossfire has announced a fresh innovation to their product line by giving the trusted trucker’s “tire bat” a modern twist. They’ve turned it into a functional pistol, introducing the new Viper Tac-Bat Pistol. The Viper Tac-Bat is a single-shot pistol that can be twisted apart for loading. This pistol has a three-position safety knob at the breech end which locks the action closed, or places it in Safe or Fire positions.

quote:

As of the moment, Crossfire only offers a .22 LR version of the Tac-Bat, however, modifications are on the horizon. The company plans to release a .22 Magnum, and according to the booth staff’s statement, a .410 version is also in the pipeline.

quote:

In terms of technical specifications, the Viper Tac-Bat emerges as a highly utilitarian piece. The single-shot, .22LR, plunger-fired device comes without sights. It is made of solid steel, adding to its durability and longevity. Proportions of the pistol afford users a convenient handling experience with an eight-inch barrel, and a length of 11.5 inches coupled with a diameter of 1.375 inches.

Most of these new 1911 platforms look like something some fricking cocaine smuggler who lives with his mom in a mud hut but walks around with fifty grand at all times would buy.

Ugly, gaudy, not worth taking anywhere outside the house. Buy an FNX-45 and call it a day.

Nighthawk purchases Cooper of Montana last year. When I was at the office in June they said they had 19 eighteen wheelers in Montana loading tool and die along with all the other shite to move to Berryville. I’m waiting to see if they keep the Jackson squirrel rifle in the lineup. Want to get one for my son for his 18th birthday.

S&W Ultimate Carry

quote:

The Ultimate Carry J-Frames are based on the 442/642 and the 432/632 lines, with some serious upgrades. If you weren't familiar with those numbers, they are airweight, Centennial frame, .38 Special and .32 H&R Magnum snub nose revolvers. Each charge hole has been chamfered to help with loading, and the triggers are improved for better precision.

XS night-sights top the gun for high visibility in light or dark conditions. Best of all, there is no internal lock on any of the four models. I'm especially interested in the .32 H&R version, for a little more ammo with a little less recoil. As an additional bonus, Lost River Ammunition is supporting the Ultimate Carry J-Frame with a new line of .32 H&R Magnum ammunition.
