Like I said 100 time and Ill' say again, the bowfisherman mentality=pen raised bird hunter because its all about pulling the trigger not an actual chase.

And to dumbass say its silly to worry about somebody doing something in bounds of law, nothing would ever change if people didnt get upset with legal actions of others. Exactly when I go fishing there's hundreds of boats everywhere pulling in redfish and then the dock is packed with ice chests with limits of reds. When we go bowfishing it's like a freaking ghost town, both in the marsh and at the dock. But we sure are slaughtering them. We take our limits and more than likely if I didnt go bowfishing I would have gone regular fishing. We've gone bowfishing and gotten skunked, just like regular fishing. So it's not something automatic just because you're using a light. There are many weekends we didn't go because the wind was bad.

Agreed. I've been twice. First time we absolutely annihilated them. Shot our 4 man limit in an hour. Second time we shot one red in five and a half hours.

I had no clue bow fishing would cause so much butt hurt haha. We kept and cleaned everything, even the sheepshead. Everything was legal. Zero difference from rod and reel fishing, except shooting a redfish with a bow is way more fun. Anyone who has been knows it's one of the most fun things you can do in the outdoors.
