SE LA/ SW MS: First fawn I’ve seen this year

Got a nice trail cam picture this morning and wanted to share. First fawn I’ve seen out at my club this year.
I manage all the food plots for our club. Design, planting schedule, planting mix, etc. It’s on pine plantation land, and they have been doing a ton of thinning, which is great in the long run, but takes away important cover in the short term. In April I made the decision to keep about half of our plots natural with the Johnson grass that grows here in hopes of giving our does some great bedding and holding them despite the thinning that is occurring. Looks like my decision is paying off.
As always, shout out to WiseEye for the great camera quality. This camera was installed with a solar panel three years ago and hasn’t been touched since. Still functions like the day it was purchased.

Gawd we mowed some of the fennel out of a few of our fields yesterday. I pray we didnt smoke any fawns (North of Woodville)
I'm switching all of my Spartan cameras to WiseEye.
We have one setup like yours and its been flawless. Spartans are tough (these are pushing 7 years in the field but are starting to die and the image quality has really suffered. They did well, but I'm going with the local company for better support.

It’s still pretty early, so I’m sure yall are okay.
We have cameras set up all over the property and this was the first dawn we have seen. I just maybe wouldn’t do anymore hardcore field cutting until you get ready to plant.
They have no mow May up north for that reason. We’re just a few months behind them down here in the Deep South
