RTIC - leaky cooler update

I decided to give them a 2nd chance. Customer Service was excellent. I first contacted them 2/21/17, received my return ship label, and had my new cooler by 2/23/17 out of Houston.
I haven't "tested" the cooler yet, but will this weekend. You can see in the below pic, my first cooler had bubbles in the lip. My second cooler has no substantial bubbles and the lip is wider. Also, the first cooler's drain plug gasket was more foam like, this second cooler's drain plug is more rubber like.

That's damn good customer service. Hope the new one works.

Hopefully not a trend with these. Went check mine for bubbles in the mold and see none. Never had a problem with any leaks. Bought it about 6 months after they first came out.

Mine has been great, but for anyone else with this issue who doesn't want to go through the hassle of returning it, I bet a small bead of caulk would seal that up.
