I usually build my rods with st croix, lamiglass rod blanks, rainshadow, and the original Houston, TX made TX80 Allstar rod blanks used my last one this Xmas to build a rod for a friend.

I picked up a friends mhx rodblank from mudhole tackle and wow not a bad blank.

Do any of you rod builders use these blanks and if so how do you like them?

I’ve built a good bit of rods using the MHX brand, and I really like the blank. And everyone that I’ve built a rod for enjoy the rod.

I have two rods my buddy made using a MHX blanks. One for punching and one is a frog/flipping rod. They are awesome rods. The frog rod is crazy lite.
