Rockefeller-East end locks launch?

Anyone use this boat ramp? I haven't been fishing in Rockefeller for 10 years and weather permissible plan on going Friday. I used to have a small commercial built boat 3/16th bottom that I did not care what I drug it over but these factory boats are thin. Is it safe to launch here and run the canals to the weirs near Little Constance lake or should I just stick to Josephs harbor and the main channels? What areas are unsafe to run in? 18.5' alum bass boat 115.

There’s a lock you can go through also, buddy launches gt boat but that isn’t what you have. Never launched on east side.

I've used the East side launch before and went to the Constance structures, but that was before the hurricane. I haven't been since it has reopened. If it wasn't functional, then I would think they would have signs.
