Replacing Factory sights on an XDS (and failing)

I have repeatedly tried to remove the factory sights on my Springfield XDS .45. Tried a not-so-well-fitted sight pusher tool and failed. Tried using a plastic punch and mallet and failed. Bought an adjustable sight pusher tool and still can't get the damn thing to budge! Any suggestions would be appreciated! TIA

Sounds like you have a very big Derringer or any other gut/belly gun?
