We have a camp and fish Big Lake as often as we can. And I am not a pro- but I feel like last few years have caught a bunch of either 13-15" or 30" plus reds. Not many in that slot.

Problem explained very simply, Guides are their own worst enemy. Pass by a guide boat @7 in one area, see him in same area @ 10. Next day there are 10 guide boats in that area, limits are had. Next day there are 15 guide boats in same area, limits are had. Next day 15 guide boats, no limits are had, we are locusts of the water, hit an area hard until there is nothing left and move on to a new killing field, rinse and repeat.
Anyone bitching about the new limits/slot needs to understand that self-regulation will not happen unless the law demands it.

Just because you can doesn't mean you should.
