I don't think there is a lot of difference among brands. I have a Big Tex Dump Trailer and other than a well know problem with the grounding of the electrical system they are well built and have good resell value based on name recognition. If you can get tandem axles with brakes it will be way more versatile but if its only going to be used as described the size is sufficient.

This is all solid advice
Double axle, tubular, with fold flat, and copious amount of dedicated welded on dring/lashing points on sides and front back and probably 2 in front and back inside of the bed.
Bigger is better not obscene work style but having extra room for shite and the occasional work use capability is win win.
