I’m looking for a rangefinder to use on an elk hunt in Montana. What do you guys suggest?
Specs:
Consistently range elk/deer at 500
Range big objects at at least 800
Slope calculated in distance
Budget $300
If I need to spend more, I can.
Thanks

I just got a new Sig BDX and love it. Matches the specs you need with the added benefit of the Bluetooth BDX system. Can pair with either a BDX Scope system or your phone App to give you holdover (MOA) and windage adjustments. If you don’t care about that, get the Sig 0850 and save some coin.
ETA: there’s NO need to spend more than $300 on a monocular rangefinder
