Trying to decide about getting the built in storage boxes in the bed walls. Anyone here have one and can you share any pros and cons?

Thanks

I lend no info to help...but what could be a negative? Donit raise the price?

If i were to buy a truck, i would want them to carry stuff like cables, tools, rain gear, etc.

Seems like a no brainer

Yeah I've never used them, but I sure wish I had them on my truck.

My regular tool box kills bed space, and I really don't need that much storage. The built in boxes seems like a happy medium.

He's talking about these...

Will a 4wheeler not fit in these beds? I honestly don't know. Just assumed it was the normal size bed

The bed interior width is 4’2” or the same as between the normal wheel wells. How wide is a stock 4 wheeler?

My last 2 rucks have been rams with work boxes on the sides. Would not buy anything else. Drills, tools, etc on one side and tons of other items on the other. They lock and unlock with the keyfob. Only negative is that the bed is a bit smaller because of them but thats not a problem for me.
Automatic lighting when you open them.
They also have 2 rubber stoppers in each side that are drains. Fill them full of ice and drinks and they drain out to the street below.

Four wheelers actually do fit in the back.

How well does ice hold up when using it for a cooler?

I wish I had them. If I get another ram I will definitely get them.
