Yesterday afternoon on the way home from work. I stopped at Tractor Supply and had my 5 gallon propane bottle refilled. The staff was very friendly and courteous. The price was $2.19 a gallon but get this Tax free. I just wanted to share this with the OB.

No actually just to refill the bottle. I've been cooking a lot of other dishes this winter. Gumbo's and also cooking at work.

And at approximately 4 pounds per gallon, the 20# propane tank cost less than $11 to fill compared to exchanging the bottle (which contains 15# of propane or 75% full).

$1.99 at my TSC here in Gump Kuntree. Swaps at most stores are $15 to $20. Less than $10 for the refill in a standard 3.5 pound fill.
