Preston Pittman Turkey calls

I got to meet him today and picked up some calls he gave me. Anyone use them?

Met him around 1988. Gave us some calls too. Been mentoring from Preston since the late 1980's. My main go to call is his sweet talker slate. It is an 02 year call not made now. My local mentor all thru the 1990's uses an original slate made way back when Preston actually had his hands on every one.
Yeah, sure miss those times. Good to have been out there doing it, in the 80's & 90's.
Tangipahoa and Washington parishes were turkey capitol, especially Montpieler, Amite, Greensburg, Kentwood, Richardson, Sheridan, Pike County Ms, man it was ate up with turkey then.

Yep. That guy is an unbelievable turkey hunter/caller. One of the pioneers of the business.

I cut my teeth in Desoto NF and Camp Shelby while at USM in the early 90s met him by chance hunting out there and got to know him. Helped me a lot in my early hunting days. He is an excellent hunter and very good story teller I could listen to him for hours.
On a side note when I decided I needed something else to hunt in high school other than ducks and girls I picked turkey hunting. Had no idea where to start but found Will Primos I wrote him a letter and two weeks later he sent me a hand written letter back with a video two mouth calls and a box call. He then followed up a few weeks later to ask what questions I had. 38 years later I am still very loyal to him and his company even though he no longer owns it. He earned my respect big time.

Did the Kansas Gov’s hunt with him back in the day. He’s always a staple at NWTF. He’s on the TFT Board if I’m not mistaken.
