Is this free to access? I remember going Dove hunting when I was younger down there. I saw a few places with dams far down that road on Google earth that looks like i can access by truck.

No but I know him and know he takes his boat to the dams on the main canal in the videos i see. But my motors in the shop so Im limited, my wife wants crabs and since Arties on grand isle is no more, this is the 2nd best option to give her crabs

Looks like you can drive to 3 spots on Island Rd. I normally go to Rockefeller, but I've been wanting to make a trip down to PAC.

I was looking into it a while back and I believe there’s a gate. There’s certain days where it’s open to vehicle traffic, but I was looking during hunting season, so it might be more accessible in the off season.
