Pogie Meal Balls For Fishing

Anyone ever make Pogie Cakes to attract bait fish to fishing area? Do they work?

I only used it to shrimp with but I don't see why it wouldn't chum fish.

It has been a long time, but yes. They work great.
My old man built a stand for an old disposal. After trawling, we would run all of the fish/by catch through it with a bit of water. We used old K&B gallon ice cream containers to catch the chum and freeze them.
As disgusting as that process was, it worked like a charm when we put those blocks into the water.
