I went to normandy a few years back, it was incredible. Do it.

I will catch a peacock bass one day, they look sweet. It would look good on the wall next to my rooster fish.

Me too, too broke to fund a fishing trip to the Amazon. Planning a trip with a few buddies in a year or so to go to FL and see if we can get on some monster largemouth and peacock. Amazon is on the bucket list though.

Went camping and fishing on Lake Gatun in Panama a few years ago. A friend of a friend owns some remote lake property there. Had a blast, remote camping, 5 of us, probably caught upwards of 150 fish a day. But they are a lot smaller there, nothing like the pic the OP had.
