Looking to upgrade. Have lowes infrared, not much of a cook. Mostly steaks and burgers for 2, so something small and convenient. Don’t have much patience either so probably not a charcoal guy. Need something that heats quick but won’t be grilling for hours. Shoot

Weber spirit would get my look… 2 or 3 burner propane. Can sometimes find them at clearances pricing.
I’ve had a 2 burner spirit for the last 8 years and it has held up very well stored out in the elements. I don’t usually cook for more than 3 people, so it fits the bill nicely.

Weber Q1200 is a nice little grill. I use it at the camp when don’t feel like messing with charcoal.

You mentioned lowes, why not one of the char-broil 2 or 3 burners? It's not a Weber, but I have had good luck with them

Thanks I’ll take a look at the Webers
I had 2 charbroils from lowes, just ready for something different. Work great but my current takes forever to heat

Did some research on the spirit vs Q1200. I think the Q might be what i need, can you cook a steak on it and can it be hooked to a large bottle or jusy a small screw in type? Appreciate the response

Yes, I’ve cooked many fillets on mine and they turn out great. And yes there is an adapter hose that you can screw on the grill to connect to a larger propane tank. It really is a nice little grill. Can cook more on it than I thought.

I had the same. The areas where the bottom door connected eventually rusted out so I bought something else but the Weber Spirit is perfect for a couple people.
