I did(not sort of) have an iPhone for 21 days. Cancelled due to coverage issues. Bounced back to old carrier and did not get one of their smart phones.

That's looking good actually because they are getting one of the new Nokia Windows phones.

What part of Ouachita?
Just south of Sterlington in a high fence enclosure.
But its true,as mentioned earlier, there are some monsters along the river practically within the city limits of Mecca. I know the folks who own a big chunk back in Chauvin. They don't hunt and nobody else can hunt it. Been that way for at least 15 years.

Some bigass deer in the Chauvin basin.
The biggest deer I've ever seen in my life jumped across the hood of my truck one evening going down Old Sterlington in the big curve between the pool and Bon Aire Drive. I realize it is across 165 from those parts, but that swamp has some big mofos for sure.

There's a piece of woods right close to Bon Aire & Old Sterlington. It's posted and I've often thought there could be a hoss in there.

quote:you remember a little loggin' road right across from bon aire where it crosses old ster. rd, back in the 70's? Used to be a great parking place up in there cause it looked like the trail stopped... I would leave a dorm and already have my hubs locked when headed to that trail...
