it doesn't change anything at all, errybody has their preference, ie: ford/chevy...
he asked me for credibility and i just stated that he is in a group of credible duck killers and he can blow a duck call with much precision out of his mouth or his butt.... I tend to turn my head the other way in the blind when he does a hail call, while blowing one of Phils commander calls from the anal region... It's just too much for my old heart to take..

I've seen it work a time or two, but not alot. It's generally a waste of good air.

Until they get a disposable call, I don't think I'll try it. Geauxt's actually only speaking of the reedless version. No barrel either. Ya know, kinda like the old cajun mouth call, but a lil different.

Prolly just as good imo. The times I've seen it work, I never really knew if those ducks heard the call, or just finally saw the decoys.
Also, I've called at high wads of teal as loud as I possibly could, and seemingly never touched them. Then, two minutes later, huge wad of teal just sales in from no where. Always felt like it was the same bunch that "did nothing" when I called, but no way to know if it actually was, they heard the call, just saw the decoys when they flew by/decided to come back/whatever.
Edit: All mouth/no butt calling.
