Yeah, I still don't believe the story. Not much really spooks me but when we were shooting an AR with tracers across a private lake I got very spooked. We were shooting in a safe direction but stopped immediately when we saw some .223 rounds take 90 degree turns. Scared the shite out of us.

Oh I'm not saying they can't take a 90. I've seent it. Hell I've seen them do a lot more severe angles than that.
But the energy it loses in order to do it slows it down significantly. Less steep angles you can retain more velocity. That round hasn't got much velocity to start with so that arc is going to be STEEP. Putting it through a window at two K? HELLLLLL No. At best you'd have to drop it through the roof.

I agree. Not that I am a physicist or anything remotely close, but I agree.
