Can't post a pic from on top this hill I'm on E. We didn't want to take an axis. If worse comes to worse feeder goes off at 5. We'll get him then. Trying to get my 7 yo a wt buck. There was an 8 and a six here Monday. We spooked em but he got a doe.



Eta: I would love to high fence some land and bring some axis to LA. They taste better than wt and breed like Jack rabbits.

I have heard that they taste much better. They are closer to cows than whitetail since they have more than one stomach and will graze. You just have to watch that they don't decimate the whitetail's food sources.

Feed them and watch them grow. The cohabitate pretty well here in w tx n food is scarce, to say the least.
