I'll be doing the stuff to do a trust, and get a can for my 300BLK (and maybe a pistol or two), but I have no interest in doing the paperwork for an SBR.

I've been out in the field this past week doing some live fires with my primary arms 3x and I have to say I'm extremely imbressed. The glass quality is awesome the mount is sturdy the only issue is the eye relief but with a good cheek weld you don't have to worry about it.

Drew, the good news is that trucks still arrive to Academy and Walmart over the weekend, so you can score any AR-15 from there and they wont be gouged.
The bad news of course is you have to beat everyone to the punch

If I got one somehow, would you recommend taking it apart and using the stripped lower for my build? Then I'll keep looking for a SL online to put on the already bought assembled gun. That way I can start building sooner and have 1 good gun and one shite one.

You can find a good Colt, Bushmaster, Windham, S&W, and those are really good rifles, no reason to mess with them to be honest.
