Read through that thread, I was skeptical as well when I first saw them. They have really impressed me with everything I have read. They seem to have taken the bcm approach with quality service, quality parts at a great price.

I would jump on that completed lower. Solid price. Sit back and wait for a good completed upper to show up

I believe a few of the regulars in this thread speak very highly of Barking Irons.

I am not one of them.

Finally got a shipping notice from ballistic advantage. Going to have my AR back together next week.

Switching from a 14.5" pinned Sabre barrel to a 16" Ballistic Advantage Stainless barrel with Syrac Adj gas block a Silencerco Saker muzzle brake.

All for the new Saker coming in forever. At least it was free, so I cant complain.

Also, just ordered the Noveske 8.5" 300BLK barrel

and the AAC Blackout Muzzle Brake

Pairing them with a BCM completed lower (with Geissele trigger) and a BCM upper receiver. Just need to choose a rail system and send off for a tax stamp

Awesome, Im waiting for my suppressor to be transferred from Silencerco to my dealer. Supposed to be about a month and then I have to file the form 4. Sooo, I get a little longer wait.

Already put the new brake on my bolt gun, need to go shoot it to see if the load needs to be adjusted now.

Ill probably build a 300blk again, built one and sold it.

Thats what I like about ARs, you can buy/sell and not worry about anything. They are everywhere.

Also have this one for even less. Is the magpul upgrade worth it?

LINK

Also, any tips on an FFL to use? Saw Ferrara listed and thought about using them. Any others?

I'd pay the $30 for Magpul furniture upgrades

Not familiar with Baton Rouge FFLs. I use a guy in Ponchatoula for $20. Super nice guy- runs it out his house but the FFL is registered to Tangi Tactical

I've had my custom shadow ops lower sitting at my FFL for the last 4 months but with all the family stuff going on I haven't had time to even shoot my ar or any of my other guns much less go pick up a new lower.
