Anyone have experience with this? Bike is running fine but is showing a 23 code flashing. Has anyone replaced one or is it necessary to do? Anyone know how to clear the flashing light once replaced?

Most likely too late if already throwing a code, but dump a can of chemtool in it and run the hell out of it for a tank.
Pre 2015 model or newest emissions?
One will run for a LONG time eith the code. One eventually wont run at all.
If less than 30 months old, your dealer will replace it for free.
Happens on all the new 420s, 520s, and 1000s. Run them hard occasionally and it'll keep the gremlin at bay.

16 model. I rarely ride it except around the camp during deer season. Will doing the above clear the code or will I need to buy the tool to clear it?

Run it like I said them disconnect battery for a while.
Might clear it.
Being a 16 eventually it will affect running.
Older models were different.

I’ve had mine changed 3 times under warranty on my 2014 rancher. It’s a known issue. Part is only like $30 I believe.

Old ones are. New ones I believe are a lot more.
Few guys in the club bought the deletes

Bikes run. But smell rich all the time. And mpg is lower.
Fix it once. Occasionally run it really hard. It'll never go out again.
