been fishing money tournaments every summer, from Memorial day to Labor Day...every year for 20 years.
Don't waste your breathe runningtiger or GeeOH. lsuson just won't get it. His point sounds logical, but it doesn't happen that way.

Marlin are a pretty fast growing fish. The big females like the in article have likely been reproducing for quite some time. The sport fishing guys typically know what they are doing. You don't get to run around in sport fishing boats chasing these fish by being stupid.
I would much rather see a dead grander than see pictures of speared Louisiana Tarpon, at least you can eat the Marlin... Same goes for our local guides and their hero shots of dead bull reds.
