Not much happening outdoors today

It's been raining since last night with steady, but mostly light rain but it's picking up as I type this.
Not much outdoor activity to be had today for sure. Good day to finish off the T-Day leftovers------if there are any.
If not, good day to cook a gumbo, chili or big pot of soup.

Just boiled some yard eggs to drop in my Turkey gumbo. Going to make potato salad this afternoon after game. Can’t complain about the rain, garden and raised beds needed it badly.

Kind of wish I'd waited until today to make my gumbo. I did 3 gallons worth yesterday with some of the fried turkey stock from T-day, some of the fried turkey, a chicken, a few leg quarters, homemade andouille and a few quarts of the stewed okra I put up from my summer garden.
Had the house stinking nice yesterday, so all I've got to do today is toss some in a bowl and heat it up.
