Have a chance to buy a little cabin close to Hardy, never really had any thoughts on it until my former boss decided to sale. So what I’m wondering is if I decide to go through with the purchase I will be looking for a hunting camp somewhere between Hardy and Jonesboro. Any you boys from that way or have ideas how to get started looking?

Why would you want to deer hunt when you’re that close to duck hunting?

If you do want to deer hunt it will all be hill hunting. Only hardwoods as well.

ETA: well if you stay north of the black river. Anything south of there will be huge fields

Well I don’t duck hunt that would be the main reason. Now if there was a camp that had some decent duck hunting I might start back. I just know nothing about the hunting in the area I would assume the deer hunting is pretty good on the edge of his and crop land.

Deer numbers are high in the hills. Trophy quality low. I wouldn't buy the cabin with deer hunting in mind.

Oh I’m not, it’s basically being given to me. Don’t care about trophy hunting. Just need some direction to finding a club or lease.
