Might be my Mississippi upbringing and roots that are responsible for me calling them crappy, although I think people here call them crappy too.

It says "Louisiana" has named the it sac-au-lait. Not differentiation between north and south LA. North LA is WRONG.

Just for the record, Crappie (what you cajuns call "Sacaulait") and White Perch are two completely different fish. They aren't even in the same family according to biological classification.

I know, I'm "ok" with crappie, but sac-au-lait is correct.
