Got a bunch of work done on the camp. Got the back porch roof on.

Fished friday and actually poled my boat for reds for the first time. About 10 minutes in I walked right off the poling platform into the water. Had my phone and wallet on me at the time. I had to strip butt naked and borrow clothes from others in the boat. Fished freeballing with no shoes or socks the rest of the day...

Ended up with 7 specks and 2 bass. muddy water everywhere.

Caught a wood duck with my hawk Saturday. It's my first time catching a duck. It's a pretty rare feat for a red tail. They're not really geared for duck hunting. We just got lucky while squirrel hunting and flushed a group in the perfect position.

The gore is from me wringing its neck to finish it off.

Im starting to think the .22LR is not the solution to provide food when if the SHTF.

I have gone on a few hunts with two buddies of mine with red tails. Always a good time
